As revolutionary anarchist-feminists and anti-authoritarians, we see the expansion of US militarism and occupation into Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, and Palestine as the logical expression of a system built on racism, imperialism, and patriarchy.

By exposing the economic motives behind the invasions and debunking the myth of ‘liberation through occupation’, Anarcha-La is taking to the streets with an anti-racist feminism that can support the survival and self-determination of Afghan, Iraqi, Palestinian women and men!

Please join Anarcha LA this Sunday, March 7, at 1pm to plan a Pink Bloc for the March 20 anti-war march.

Please come out for our next meeting on Sunday, February 21st at 1pm. It will be held at the Eco-Village in the back yard: 117 Bimini Place, Los Angeles CA 90004.

From 1-2pm we will conduct a study group and from 2-3pm we are planning the Anarcha contingent at the upcoming anti-war march on March 20th. Please come out and participate for the full two-hours of the meeting.

Anarcha L.A. in Solidarity L.A. Anarchist Bookfair will be tabling and presenting on Thursday January 21st. We will be giving a short introduction to the Spanish historical drama Libertarias as well as have a table with anarchists, feminists, and non-gender conforming lit. Come join us from 7:00pm – 10:00pm

A Spanish historical drama written and directed by Vicente Aranda Ezguerra.

In the midst of the Spanish Civil War, women organize and fight fascists while challenging the sexism from their male “revolutionary” counterparts. This film chronicles the experiences of a group of anarchist feminist women in various war fronts.

Our 1st picnic/social/potluck in February was super successful and fun. We discussed pertinent issues effecting womyn and our community and we wanna do it again! So, come out to MacArthur Park on Sunday August 23, 2009 from 1-4pm for our vegan potluck/social! We’re excited to hold this event as a way to further work towards creating a Los Angeles that is free of sexism, capitalism, racism, and homophobia. So, for all gender-fuckers and those who are just curious, please join us for a day of discussion and socializing in the park. It’s an event not to be missed!!

Also, we will use this event to debrief from the So Cal Anarchist Conference and Clit Fest, focusing specifically on womyn’s presence at both events.

Note: Of course this event is open to non-vegans/vegetarians but we do ask that you bring a non-animal product derived snack or food item to share so that all can enjoy!

Southern California Anarchist Conference & Feria Libertaria
