Our 1st picnic/social/potluck in February was super successful and fun. We discussed pertinent issues effecting womyn and our community and we wanna do it again! So, come out to MacArthur Park on Sunday August 23, 2009 from 1-4pm for our vegan potluck/social! We’re excited to hold this event as a way to further work towards creating a Los Angeles that is free of sexism, capitalism, racism, and homophobia. So, for all gender-fuckers and those who are just curious, please join us for a day of discussion and socializing in the park. It’s an event not to be missed!!
Also, we will use this event to debrief from the So Cal Anarchist Conference and Clit Fest, focusing specifically on womyn’s presence at both events.
Note: Of course this event is open to non-vegans/vegetarians but we do ask that you bring a non-animal product derived snack or food item to share so that all can enjoy!
